Track and Field: East Los Angeles College Views

General overall view of Weingart Stadium (formerly ELAC Stadium) on the campus of East Los Angeles College, Monday, May 4 2020, in Monterey Park, Calif. It was built in 1951 at a cost of $3.1 million, and following renovations in 1984 it was renamed after philanthropist Ben Weingart. The stadium played host to all 1984 Olympic field hockey matches. The 22,355-capacity multi-purpose facility is the site of the annual East Los Angeles Classic high school football game between Garfield and Roosevelt.
