The Arcadia Invitational has produced 32 national records and 179 U.S. Olympians since the meet's inception in 1968. It is the largest outdoor high school meet in the United States, with more than 4,000 high school athletes competing largest high school sporting event in the nation that is hosted on a high school campus. The 2020 meet scheduled for April 10-11 was cancelled amid the global coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
