2008 Junior Nationals - Day 3 »Walter Henning of LSU broke his American Junior record to win the hammer for the third year in a row at 242-4 on the final day at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at Ohio State on June 22, 2008. Ohio native Jessia Beard of Texas A&M won the women's 400 meters for the third year in a row at 52.23 and Jordan Hasay defended her title in the womem's 1,500 meters in 4:18.44.
2008 Junior Nationals - Day 2 »Jeshua Anderson of Washington State won the 400m hurdles in a meet-record 49.28 to defeat 2007 Pan-American Junior champion Johnny Dutch of South Carolina and reigning World Youth Champion William Wynne after a two-hour thunderstom delay. Elijah Greer of Lake Oswego High (Ore.) won the 800m in 1:47.68 to move into fourth on the all-time U.S. list.
2008 Junior Nationals - Day 1 »Terrence Wilks of Florida won the 100 meters in 10.19 and Jeneba Tarmoh of Tennessee won the women's 100 in 11.39 to highlight the opening day at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at Ohio State on June 20, 2008. Karlee McQuillen of Penn State won the women's javelin in a meet-record at 171-5.
