Terrence Trammell won the 60-meter hurdles in 7.37 to move into a tie for third on the all-time U.S. list Lolo Jones won the women's 60 hurdles in 7.84.

2008 Meeting Gaz de France Saint-Denis »World record holder ayron Robles of Cuba ran 12.88 in the 110m hurdles to equal the second-fastest time ever on the fourth leg of the six-meet AF Golden League 2008 at Stade de France. Pamela Jelimo of Kenya won the women's 800m in a World Junior record 1:54.97 and Blanka Vlasic won the high jump at 6-7 to remain in contention for the $1 million jackpot.

San Antonio College on June 15, 2008. Carmelita Jeter, the 2007 World Championships 100-meter bronze medalist, won in 11.17.
2008 NCAA Championships - UPDATED »The Florida State men won their third team title in a row and LSU won the women's title at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, IA on June 11-14, 2008. The Florida State men won with 52 points. LSU and Auburn tied for second with 44. The LSU women beat defending champion Arizona State with a second-place finish in the final event, the 1,600 relay, to break a 59-59 tie.

2008 NCAA Division II Championships »Abilene Christian swept the men's and women's titles for the seventh time at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. on May 24, 2008. The ACU men won the their 17th title, defeating St. Augustine's 108 1/2 to 102. Meet records by Linda Brivule in the javelin (169-9) and Winrose Karunde in the steeplechase (10:20.42) helped the ACU women beat Adams State, 76.5-55.
2008 CIF Southern Section Masters Meet »Christine Babcock of Irvine Woodbridge High set a national federation record of 4:36.57 in the girls' 1,600 meters for the fastest time run in a U.S. high school race at Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif. on May 23, 2008. Nation-leading marks were also turned in by Ryan Butts of Antelope Valley in the long jump (24-10 1/2) and Compton Dominguez in the 4 x 400- relay (3:11.50).
2008 CIF L.A. City Section Finals »Nijah Nelms won the 100 in 11.92 and the 200 in 24.71 to help Birmingham High to its third girls' L.A. City Section girls' title in four years on her home track in Lake Balboa, Calif. on May 23, 2008. Dale Morgan of Taft won the 100 (10.80), the 110 hurdles (14.27) and the 300 hurdles (37.65). Dorsey buoyed by a win in the 400 relay in 41.67 in the meet's first race, won its 10th title.
2008 adidas Track Classic »Jenn Stuczynski set an American record 16-0 3/4 in the women's pole vault to take sole possession of second on the all-time performer list at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. on May 18, 2008. Stuczynski's effort was among four world-leading marks with Shannon Rowbury in the 1,500m (4:01.61), Meagan Metcalfe in the 3,000m (8:51.97) and Ali Abdosh in the 5,000m (13:08.64).

2008 California International Relays »Christian Cantwell and Jenn Stucyzynski turned in world yearly leading marks in the 67th annual meet at Modesto Junior College on Saturday, May 10, 2008. Cantwell won the shot put at 71-4 3/4 and Stuczynski cleared 15-5 in the women's pole vault. Lauryn Williams won the women's 100 (11.18) and 200 meters (22.85). Candice Davis won the women's 100 hurdles in 12.80.
2008 Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational »Shalane Flanagan won the women's 10,000 meters in 30:34.49 in the meet at Stanford University's Cobb Track & Angell Field in Stanford, Calif. on Sunday, May 4, 2008.
2008 Southern California-UCLA Dual Meet »The Southern California women defeated UCLA, 86-77, to end a 15-year losing streak in the meet at Drake Stadium on Saturday, May 3, 2008. The UCLA men beat USC, 84-79, to remain unbeaten against the Trojans at home since 1977.

2008 California Relays »Tasha Danvers of Great Britain, a 2007 World Championships finalist in the women's 400m hurdles, won the 100m hurdles (13.39) and the 800m (2:07.77) in the California Relays at Cerritos College in Norwalk on March 21, 2008. April Brown (11.71) and Mickey Grimes (10.37) were women's and men's 100m winnners.
2008 NCAA Indoor Championships »Arizona State won the men's and women's titles in the meet and collegiate records were set by Bianca Knight of Texas in the women's 200m (22.40) and Arizona State's Ryan Whiting in the shot put (71-3 1/2) and Jacquelyn Johnson in the pentathlon (4,496 points).at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 14-15, 2008.

2008 Trojan Relays »Shalina Clarke and Kai Kelley of Southern California swept the hurdle races in the Trojan Relays on a chilly, overcast afternoon at Cromwell Field in Los Angeles on Mar. 1, 2008. Clarke won the women's 100-meter hurdles (13.76), the 400 hurdles (1:00.58) and ran on the Trojans' winning 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays. Kelley won the 110 highs (14.00) and 400 intermediates (52.06).
2008 USATF Indoor Championships »Lolo Jones and Adam Nelson earned the VISA Championships Series female and male titles at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. on Feb. 23-24, 2008. Jones won the women's 60-meter hurdles in 7.88. Nelson finished third to Christian Cantwell in the shot put and did not qualify for the World Champonships but his 73-6 in the Tyson Invitaitional was the series top performance.
2008 Tyson Invitational »Adam Nelson moved into third on the all-time list in the indoor shot put with a heave of 73-6 (22.40m) for the world's longest throw since 1989 in the Tyson Invitational in the USATF Visa Championships Series meet at the Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008. Wallace Spearmon won the 200 meters in 20.19 for the No. 5 performance of all-time.
2008 Millrose Games »Adam Nelson set a Madison Square Garden record in the shot put at 72-5 to move into third on the all-time U.S. list and Bernard Lagat held off Australian Criag Mottram in the Wanamaker Mile, 3:57.51 to 3:57.90, for his sixth Wanamaker title - one shy of "Chairman of the Boards" Eammon Coghlan's record of seven - in the 101st Millrose Games in New York City on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008.
2008 Run for the Dream »The United States won 11 of 16 events, highlighted by wins by Reese Hoffa in the shot put at 69-1 1/4 and Amy Acuff in the women's high jump at 6-4 3/4, in the USA vs The World competition for a 96-66 victory on the opening leg of the USATF Visa Championships Series at the Save Mart Center on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008.
2008 National Pole Vault Summit »Derek Miles and Jillian Schwartz were the elite men's and women's winners in the 18th annual event at the Reno Livestock Events Center on Friday, Jan. 4, 2007. Miles won at 19-0 1/4 (5.80m) for his fourth Summit title over Toby Stevenson (18-8 1/4, 5.70m). Jillian Schwartz won at 14-1 1/4 (4.30m) over Erin Asay and Becky Holiday.
